2026 Summer Lxs Jovenes Session

This vibrant, forward-thinking 2 week in-person program that uses the arts, mindfulness and leadership practice and STEAM activities to cultivate self-empowerment, self-expression and community care in our jovenes (youth). 

These future leaders will work with local artists, Museum professionals to tell their story and complete an art project that positively represents their life and community while learning important life skills like financial literacy, mental heatlh and cultural awareness. This is a free program to a group of up to 15 participants. (12-17 years old) Food provided

Alongside each Lxs Jovenes session, is the Youth Advisory Council which is a program that reaches and engages Latinx youth 9-12th grade. The students are graduates of our Leadership Lab who have the experience needed to transform the Lab into a youth-led program that is more finely attuned to the youth’s needs.
